Cosy: Cowshed’s Comforting Bath and Body Oil

Let me introduce you to Cosy, Cowshed’s comforting bath and body oil. I first found Cosy on a bedside table at Babington House, part of the luxury hotel Soho House Chain.

The Cowshed brand was literally born in the cowshed at Babington House where the first Cowshed spa opened in 1998.

So, this was the perfect place of discovery. And I fell in love on the spot.

Firstly, We’ll Start With The Essential Oils

Rose absolute, patchouli, and cinnamon. There’s a reason why Cowshed calls Cosy their warming mood.

For instance, these essential oils are perfect for whenever you’re in the mood for romance as all three are very sensual. And we can all agree the smell of roses reminds us of romance, patchouli is just sexy, and cinnamon is a known stress reliever.

It’s perfect for winter to warm and uplift through those darker days. But I like to use mine all year round as it’s such a mood-booster whatever season you’re in.

I usually massage mine in right after a bath or shower. Alternatively, I add a few drops to my bath when the tap is still running to fill the bathroom with the aroma. It feels like such a luxurious way to unwind and relax.

Add in some epsom salts, and you’ll be ready for sleep with relaxed muscles and a soothed mind!

High-Quality Ingredients And Unique Fragrances

Cowshed also ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to ethics and quality. All products are vegetarian and cruelty-free. For skincare lovers who want to enjoy the products with peace of mind, Cowshed guarantees there are no parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates, artificial fragrancing, or animal testing.

Natural botanicals from sustainable resources containing the highest quality essential oils are used to create incredible natural fragrance. And all of this is what makes Cowshed a winning brand for me.

Back To The Oil: Get Blissful And Cosy

Described as a ‘naturally fragrant vegan oil blend made in England with ingredients specially selected to encourage pure bliss,’ it has a spicy, floriental fragrance. For me, it inspires an incredible warm feeling, and I can’t get enough of it.

Sweet almond and organic hemp seed oils leave the skin ultra-soft and smooth, as well as hydrated. And as it says on the bottle, comforting!

In short, it’s incredible.

With all its pros and zero cons, Cosy is a personal favourite of mine, and totally worth it for a little bit of luxury.
